Le Conseil des arts de la Baie is delighted to welcome Lalie Douglas as Executive Director of le CAB. She hit the ground running in December 2023, taking inventory of La Manivelle workshop and planning for the upcoming Congrès mondial acadien in August 2024. Lalie's interim post ends September 30, 2024.
Hello! I am pleased to introduce myself: My name is Lalie Douglas and I have just recently settled in Clare. I left the city of Montreal to pursue my dream of living a quiet life near the sea and it is my great good fortune to find myself here with you all!
I bring with me a lifetime of experience in the arts; as an artist, curator, board member of artist centres, teacher and technician and I look forward to putting this experience to the service of le CAB. There are big projects and big challenges that I look forward to taking on together in the coming years!
